Madsons Services Ltd t/a Autovinto

At Autovinto, we aim to ensure every customer is satisfied with their vehicle purchase. This policy explains your rights if an issue arises or if you decide you no longer want the car.

1. Faulty Vehicles – 30 Day Right to Reject

If your vehicle develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, you are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You are entitled to:

- A repair, or

- A refund if the vehicle cannot be repaired within a reasonable timeframe or the fault is serious.

We will always attempt a repair first, but if the issue cannot be resolved promptly, you may request a refund.

2. Returns When There is No Fault (Change of Mind)

If you decide you no longer want the vehicle and it is not faulty:

- A return cost will apply at £2.00 per mile for every mile you have added to the vehicle since collection/delivery.

- This charge covers depreciation, loss of value, admin, and preparation costs.

Example:
If you added 100 miles, the return fee = 100 miles × £2 = £200.

Return acceptance is at Autovinto’s discretion and the vehicle must be in the same condition as supplied.

3. Return Procedure

To begin a return:

  1. Contact us via phone, WhatsApp, or email.

  2. Provide your reason for return.

  3. We may inspect the vehicle or request photos/videos.

  4. For faulty vehicles, we will arrange repair or collection.

  5. For change-of-mind returns, mileage fees must be agreed before refund.

4. Refund Timeframe

Once a return is approved:

- Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days.

- Returned to the original payment method.

5. Exclusions

Returns may be declined if:

- The vehicle has been damaged, misused, or modified.

- The mileage added is excessive beyond normal test use.

- Wear-and-tear items (brakes, tyres, bulbs, etc.) are the issue, not a fault.

- The problem was caused by third-party work after purchase.

6. Your Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
